Iconic Fashion Photographer for the New York Times Dies

Legendary New York Times street-fashion photographer Bill Cunningham passed away yesterday. He was 87. Known for his keen fashion sense and ascetic lifestyle, he began taking assignments for the New York Times in the 1970's.

Dressed in his trademark blue jacket, khaki pants and black sneakers, he rode his bike through virtually every corner of New York, looking for fashionable people to capture with his camera. His photo essays were must see's for anyone interested in the art of fashion and street photography.

Fojo: The latest mashup of digital and analogue

If you were ever wondering how you could make analogue prints from images on your smart phone (and you were, weren't you?), then wonder no more. The Enfojer is here!

The Enfojer, along with the accompanying app, Fojer, allows you to make old-school B&W prints right from the screen on your phone.

The Enfojer kit. Includes everything you need to make analogue B&W prints.
Everything you need to experience the joy of darkroom printing is included in the "Luxury Kit". The enlarger, safe light, trays, tongs, chemistry and paper.

The safe light. Probably the coolest one we've ever seen.
And we've seen a lot!

The phone app allows you to manipulate your image and then with the light from the screen, project the image onto the photographic paper. The paper is then processed just as any traditional B&W image would be. You can even make prints from negatives up to 6x6. Totally cool...

The Enfojer is made in Croatia with world-wide shipping currently included in the price. The project was funded through an Indiegogo campaign and the first units are now shipping. To find out more about the Enfojer, visit their website here.
